Shaping a culture is all about the narrative. Whoever has control of the narrative, who ever is better at crafting the messaging has the most influence over the culture. For decades we, as conservatives, have fallen considerably short in the area of advancing traditional values over those of political correctness. It has hurt us as a society immeasurably. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think I did a pretty good job of teaching my my kids my own conservative values. But when they go off to college and are barraged by the widely liberal\/progressive\/socialist views of academia you just never can be sure how that may influence their life’s perspective and general view of the world. After all, they are the future. And if you are like me, and believe traditional values have, … value, you worry that all the years of care spent teaching them right from wrong might just be programed right out of them in liberal post-secondary education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My kids are both out of college now. While I am happy to report their values weren’t drastically derailed by their experiences there, if I had known about the positive vernacular\/mindset coming out of Wyoming University I just might have packed them up and sent them there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Much to the deep, vitriolic irritation of the liberal academic collective, a new and very refreshing narrative is coming out of “Equality State’s” University of Wyoming in Laramie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
